The Edinbane Inn is located in the quiet village of Edinbane, at the head of Loch Greshornish, on the Isle of Skye.
Originally built as a farmhouse, we have attempted to retain some of the traditional characteristics whilst renovating our bar. A warming stove and open fire, exposed stone walls, and a friendly atmosphere greet visitors and locals alike.
As well as the usual array of bar drinks available, we pride ourselves on the quality of our Real Ales from the Isle of Skye Brewery, Hand Pump Cider and Fine Wines.
We consider ourselves to be Skye’s premier ‘bar venue’ for traditional music. With a handful of musicians amongst our staff, and many more living locally, both arranged and impromptu traditional music sessions are commonplace. To be guaranteed music, come along — with your instruments, if you play — on Wednesday nights from 9pm or Sundays 4pm to 7pm. Our regular sessions are also supplemented by performances by some of the leading exponents on the Scottish folk music scene.
Our restaurant, also recently refurbished, simply decorated, and displaying the work of local artists allows diners to enjoy the setting sun, warmed by the heat of a stove.
We strive to use the best of local and Scottish produce cooked simply. As our price range suggests.
